BLOG Entry - At last

Thank god the snow is finally here, people are now getting into thew shopping spirit and as a shop keeper it gladdens the heart. It also means if Percy or Pooter shit somewhere indiscreet to snow coveres it in no time.

Christmas madness has started here, everyone has had 11 months to order things and it is now they finally do.........and..........want it before christmas.

Mind you I will be one of those sad men on the day before christmas stressing at NK to try and find gift. We are lost souls who huddle together terrified we will not  find anything at all for our loved ones which is why wives and girlfriends often get hoovers or rubber gloves.

Merry Christmas!
Same thing every year ~

Same procedure as every year, James.

Actually, I wouldn't mind a hover, but it has to be a nice one, because it's going to be standing in the middle of the floor a lot. :) Maybe painted in a Joseph Frank-style. Or Burberry.

What do you boys want for christmas? I'm glad I don't have to buy you anything, I have a feeling you're difficult to shop for. hehe

This year I have decided that all the family will get something a little different. I think it is such a wate of time giving socks that I will buy a goat on their behalf.

Barnfonden is running a scheme where you pay a certain amount and a family in Zambia gets a got which for many people is a life saver. Each family member then gets a certificate saying what they have done for christmas. It is such a cool idea.

That's very smart and kind. I've been thinking of something similar, but unfortunately my family wouldn't appriciate it the same way yours hopefully will. I've donated trees as a present before, and it works really well when the certificate is given to someone who appriciates it.

I read in the paper the other day that a lawyer in England has started selling gift certificates for divorce. What a lovely gift, right? "Merry Christmas, I'm leaving you! Here's a half hour consultation with a lawyer!" :D
