Today, my brother was passing out silverware for dinner. He asked me if I wanted a spoon or fork. I said surprise me. He gave me a butter knife, I ate with it anyway. MLIA
Today, I saw a dead squirrel on the side of the road outlined in chalk. I have never had so many questions in my life. MLIA.
Today, I was thinking about the expression 'revenge is a dish best served cold'. Then I considered that 'revenge is sweet'. I've come to the conclusion that revenge is ice cream. MLIA

More about films.. Warning: LONG TEXT! 23:40 Wed, 18 Nov 2009
Hi!
I really felt like writing a blogpost now, but I don't have a lot of time to write it, nor is the subject of this very important, just something insignificant i thought of that 'caught my attention'...
Anyways.
Remember me writing about how the main characters in movies always know that they are special and will be allright, and how unrealistic that sometimes is?
There are loads of unrealistic things like that in films.
(and by unrealistic i don't mean as in Harry Potter or Narnia or whatever)
Well, in this case I am actually talking about supernatural things, but the unrealistic part about this that caught my eye is how people in these films always find the surreal elements so natural!
I'll explain what I mean.
I thought of this while reading what a new film 'Jennifer's body' is about.
It included a girl's body being possessed by a demon, and then it said that her friend figured out what was going on and tried to stop it. Or something a little like that.
In real life, if your friend started acting in a weird way:
would you jump to the conclusion that her body is posessed by a demon?
Seriously, would you?
Probably not.
Or maybe people do have this good imagination in real life.
I know I would probably try to think of a logical solution.
(I know I'm probably completely wrong about this particular film, since i haven't seen it, but it just made me think of this, which occurs in many other movies, so I hope it makes sense. Hope you somehow get the main point :b)
And think about how quickly they accept the situation in films. I mean movies where 'normal' people are introduced to surreal worlds.
If it had been me I'd been shocked throughout the entire movie and not been able to believe my eyes every time I saw a new magical creature or whatever.
I would also have questioned my own mental health and if I was actually awake.
Because in real life. no matter how badly we might want some mystery and magic, we always search for every possible logical explanation first.

Yeah, as I said this wasn't anything very interesting or even well-written due to lack of time xD And I don't even really want to post this anymore, but I will do it anyway, because I haven't written anything here in such a long time!
I WILL write another blogpost in November, I swear.

About me
Hello!
I'm glad you found my snowfish page :)
My name is Fredrika. I'm 16, and come from the Swedish-speaking Åland Islands which are a part of Finland, but I have lived in Luxembourg since I was 9.
What kind of person am I? Well, that's up to you to decide :)
You'll get to know me and how my mind works better by hanging out with me here on snowfish, reading my blog etc. I'm gonna be writing blog posts at least once a week about things I think about, which could be anything from the meaning of life to why the grass is green, or how boring fireworks are.
I love music -couldn't live a day without it!, singing, photography, drawing, writing, fashion, meeting friends, etc.
I hate swimming, horror movies, snakes, dishonest people, & so on.
I never get enough sleep, cry while watching movies or tv or something like that, am on time (well, of course I am! but I'm late too often), am able to keep myself organized and a glimpse into my room, school bag, or anything else belonging to me can confirm this fact ;)
I always forget things (my memory is like the one of a goldfish), stress, get distracted xD, find new things I'd just LOVE to try out and feel like "this is what I want to do for the rest of my life".. until I find something new, that is ;b ....
I have no idea so far, to what I'm gonna do in the future, but I prefer to take things one day at a time :)
